Your approach to training hygiene support staff in healthcare facilities makes a telling difference, when it comes to increasing the overall standards of hygiene. CLEANPASS training provides both practical and theoretical training in systematic and safe cleaning, hygiene skills, infection prevention and control, health and safety, communication skills and hygiene standards.

On completion of the Cleanpass Programme, your staff will :

Know Why they clean – learn about the origins and importance of cleaning in healthcare, reducing the presence of potentially harmful infections and maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment.

Know What they are dealing with – Gain an understanding of where to find and how to control the presence and growth of microorganisms such as Bacteria like MRSA and Clostridium Difficile, Viruses such as Norovirus and Hepatitis B and Fungi such as Aspergillus in the healthcare setting.

Know How to stay safe – Be able to dilute, handle, use and store chemicals, use electrical equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums and steamers safely. Manage and dispose of healthcare waste and sharps safely and appropriately.

Know How to do great job – Be able to work safely while applying colour coding systems to prevent cross infection in the environment and know how to identify and report signs of a pest infestation. Clean an environment to meet at minimum a healthcare hygiene audit standard.

Know What to say and Know How to be Prepared – Be able to communicate effectively; including complaint handling, responding to auditors, completing incident and accident reports and completing checklists.
